Amb aquest post el que us vull donar és un llistat de webs de ciutats (espanyoles, resta d'Europa, resta del món) en comparació amb el page rank del web municipal de la ciutat de Barcelona.Segons comenta Google, el page rank és una dada numèrica que indica la importància de cada pàgina web, aquesta dada es genera seguint un algorisme que es nodreix de moltíssimes variables. Pàgines que Google considera que són pàgines importants reben un page rank més elevat i apareixeran més amunt en la part superior dels resultats de cerca.
Cal tenir en compte que el page rank és un valor de 0 a 10 (on el millor número és el 10). Aquesta dada, a nivell dels usuaris, és, tal com deia, un enter de 0 a 10. Però a nivell intern (incloent-hi el posicionament en el buscador) la dada és real, és a dir, és un número amb molts decimals.
D'altra banda, el page rank es "transmet". Així si una pàgina està enllaçada des de pàgines amb un page rank probablement també tindrà un page rank alt.
Aquí us proporciono el page rank de les pàgines inicials de diferents ciutats (concretament del llistat de ciutats que us proporciono les dades del traffic rank d'Alexa).
Per ser més exactes, el page rank no és a nivell de domini sinó que, tal com indica el seu nom, és a nivell de pàgina. Aquí el que proporciono són les dades de page rank de la pàgina inicial de diferents webs de ciutats, (usualment aquesta pàgina és la que té millor page rank de cada site).
Veureu que els webs amb millor page rank són les corresponents a les ciutats de:
- Xangai (9/10).
- Helsinki (8/10).
- Istanbul (8/10).
- Madrid (8/10).
- París (8/10).
- Pequín (8/10).
- Rio de Janeiro (8/10).
- Viena (8/10).
